A bicycle that turns your ride into music.

Cydio lets cyclists make music by riding. Instead of listening to recorded music, each rider creates their own from the way they ride.

Sensors on the bike and in the phone map the ride to sound: speed, handlebar tilt, lean angle in corners, terrain and saddle position each control different effects and sounds.

An iOS app on the handlebar generates the music, played through earphones or a speaker. For safety, it listens to the street and stops the music when it hears a loud sound such as a horn or a siren.
